EAF Ramming - Resco Products

Plastics and Ramming Refractories

Resco Products provide plastic and ram type refractories fully prepared for installation. Commonly installed with a pneumatic rammer plastic refractories are adaptable for quick repairs.

Refractory Mortars

Resco Product refractory mortars are utilized for coating, patching, and bonding all types of refractory brick. Resco provides alumina and magnesia based mortar refractory products in both wet and dry mixes.

Backfill

Resco provides backfill products for behind working linings in ladles, AOD degassers, and other metallurgical vessels.  An example would be a Permanente 165AF castable used dry.  

Refractory Anchors

Refractory anchors hold the monolithic refractory linings of furnaces in place.  Refractory anchors can vary in size.  Resco Products provides anchors ranging in length to suit any occasion.  Alumex-P85-HS is the predominant high alumina brick composition used to make these refractory anchors.  This brand has very high strength, high abrasion resistance, and excellent thermal shock resistance.
