Iron Ladle

Iron ladles transfer liquid iron from either a Treadwell ladle or hot metal mixer to a basic oxygen furnace. Due to the high temperature and extreme wear, it requires significant maintenance. Maintenance is usually based on tons of iron transferred but requires small amounts of maintenance on a weekly basis. Rescal 70D is an ideal refractory solution for the safety lining.
