Resco Products provide refractory clay in bulk. Our Cedar Heights Clay Company produces a variety of clays utilized in a wide range of industries. Bulk clay is available in Fireclay, ceramic clay, Redart clay, Goldart clay, and Salt Lick Stoneware Clay.
Cedar Heights Clays are available from a distributor near you. All refractory clays are available as 200 mesh in 50-pound bags. In addition to bags of clay for sale, bulk packaging is also available.
Our Hillsborough deposit located in the “Piedmont” of North Carolina has been producing consistent ore since it opened in 1958. A unique mix of the mineral andalusite and massive grain pyrophyllite increases the heat resistance of the natural combination, raising the melting point. The purity of this pyrophyllite ore makes it an excellent source for alumina and silica in high-temperature formulations.
Piedmont Minerals has been a staple raw material producer in refractory mixes and many other ceramic applications. Our product is shipped by a bag, super sack, pneumatic tanker truck, and railcar.
Classification and blending at Cedar Heights Clay and Piedmont Minerals allow for versatile chemical and mineralogical classes of products. Our selection of refractory clays and minerals contain Alkatrol©, Andafrac©, Pyrofrac©, Pyrophyl©, Pyrotrol©. Our Andalusite and Pyrophyllite clay offerings vary from refractories to aesthetic coatings while our unique mineral deposit provides numerous solutions to improve your products.
