In this difficult time for our communities, Resco Products is staying true to our character by continuing to be a leader in our industry. Resco is taking the necessary precautions and attempting to implement all of the CDC’s recommended protocols related to protecting against and reducing the spread of COVID-19. On Thursday March 19th, Due to concern over COVID-19, Pennsylvania ordered all “non-life sustaining businesses” to close and/or work remotely. Since that time, many other states and countries where Resco has manufacturing locations have followed suit. Resco, and the work our employees do, is an integral part of the critical infrastructure supply chain of the United States, as determined by the Department of Homeland Security’s CISA framework. Similar determinations have been made with respect to the frameworks of Canada and the United Kingdom. As such, Resco has been found to be an “essential business” and our manufacturing facilities remain operational.

Resco Product’s customers can be assured all Resco locations are operating in compliance with both local and federal orders. Each facility is taking the advised precautions through social distancing, increased cleaning/sanitation schedules, employee education, staggering breaks, eliminating non-critical visitors and more. We have also attempted to move all employees out of our facilities who have roles that can be done remotely. Additionally, several plants are currently, and more are scaling up for, using non-contact thermometers to measure the temperature of each employee as they enter our facilities.

In doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19, Resco Products is donating two cutting-edge biomed scales to the Pittsburgh American Red Cross improving efficiency and safety for those on the front lines of this pandemic. Since the start of the pandemic, the American Red Cross has cancelled thousands of blood drives in hopes of slowing down the spread, however, they are facing an unprecedented shortage in supplies. These new scales will improve the ability to collect blood more efficiently, reduce errors, and in the end, save more lives.

Resco Products wants to thank our employees and customers for their understanding and commitment during this time. Resco appreciates your business and looks forward to serving you in the future.
